Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Go2Care.co (“Go2Care,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, Care Seekers and Care Providers (collectively referred to as “you” or “users”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.

1. Platform Overview

 

Go2Care.co is a domestic, non-medical care referral platform that connects individuals and families in need of in-home support (“Care Seekers”) with independent caregivers (“Care Providers”) for non-medical services such as companionship, hygiene assistance, errands, and light housekeeping.

Important: Go2Care.co is not an employer. We do not hire, manage, supervise, or compensate Care Providers. All arrangements, communications, and payments are handled solely between users.

 

2. Eligibility Requirements

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, both Care Seekers and Care Providers understand and agree that they must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Reside in the United States
  • Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements
  • Use the platform exclusively for lawful, non-medical caregiving purposes

3. Care Provider Registration & Approval

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, Care Providers agree to create a public-facing profile and must:

  • Upload a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID
  • Upload a background check completed within the past 12 months
  • Complete a caregiver profile with bio, service offerings, availability, and skills

Review Process:

  • Submissions are subject to review and may take up to 7 business days
  • Incomplete or unverifiable submissions may result in rejection or suspension
  • Only approved profiles will be searchable by Care Seekers

Care Providers agree that their profiles will be publicly viewable and searchable by verified Care Seekers. Care Seekers may contact Care Providers via email, phone, video calls, notifications, and in-platform messaging.

4. Care Seeker Profile Visibility

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, Care Seekers agree that when creating an account or posting a job:

Your profile, including job descriptions, care needs, and preferences, will be viewable, searchable, and reachable via email, phone, video calls, notifications, and messaging by verified Care Providers on the Platform.

This visibility facilitates timely and effective caregiver connections.

5. Verification & Badging

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that Go2Care.co offers verification and skill badges to enhance profile credibility and visibility.

Required for Verification:

  • Valid U.S. government-issued photo ID
  • Background check completed within the last 12 months

Optional Certifications for Badging:

  • CPR / First Aid
  • CNA, HHA, or HCA Certification
  • TB Test
  • Dementia Care Certification

All documents are reviewed by Go2Care.co staff or approved third-party verification partners.

6. User Conduct Guidelines

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that all users must behave respectfully and professionally. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Submitting false, fraudulent, or manipulated documents
  • Misrepresenting identity, experience, or qualifications
  • Harassment, abuse, or exploitation
  • Off-platform payment arrangements
  • Inappropriate, threatening, or discriminatory communication

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.

7. Messaging & Job Interaction

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that:

  • Only subscribed Care Seekers may initiate contact with Care Providers
  • Care Providers may respond but may not initiate contact
  • All communication must be professional and caregiving-related
  • Go2Care.co does not manage payments or enforce private agreements

8. Subscription & Payment Terms

8.1 Subscription Cancellation

Users may cancel their subscription anytime by:

  • Going to Account Settings
  • Selecting Manage Subscription
  • Clicking Cancel Subscription and confirming

Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. No further charges will occur after cancellation.

8.2 No Refunds for Partial Use

  • Go2Care.co maintains a strict no-refund policy
  • No refunds will be issued for unused time
  • Users are responsible for canceling before the next billing cycle

8.3 Trial Periods

If using a free or discounted trial, cancellation must occur before the trial ends to avoid charges.

8.4 Billing Error Exceptions

Refunds may be granted for verified billing errors. Requests must be submitted to support@go2care.io within 7 days of the charge.

9. Stripe Payment Gateway

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that Stripe, Inc. is used as the third-party payment processor for all subscription transactions.

By submitting payment information, you also agree to be bound by Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Stripe Contact & Terms

Go2Care.co does not store or directly process your credit card data. All financial transactions are securely handled by Stripe.

10. Profile Content & Public Display

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that:

  • All profile content must be truthful, accurate, and legal
  • No plagiarized, impersonated, or falsified content is allowed
  • All content is reviewed prior to being published

Go2Care.co may edit, suspend, or remove any content that violates these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that Go2Care.co is not responsible for:

  • The quality or outcome of caregiving services
  • Any dispute or transaction between users
  • Off-platform activities, agreements, or harm
  • Misleading or false user-submitted information
  • Use of the Platform is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Go2Care.co, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any legal claims, losses, or damages resulting from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your actions, content, or communications
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws

13. Account Suspension & Termination

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that Go2Care.co may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Provide false or unverifiable documentation
  • Are reported for misconduct or abuse
  • Endanger or harass other users or misuse the Platform

14. Updates to These Terms

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that these Terms may be updated periodically.

Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after updates indicates your acceptance.

15. Governing Law

By accessing or using the Go2Care.co platform, you understand and agree that these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of California courts for any legal matters related to these Terms or your use of the Platform.
