  • What is Go2Care.co?

    Go2Care is a domestic care referral platform that connects Care Providers with families and individuals seeking non-medical care services. We do not hire or employ caregivers.


     

  • Is Go2Care an agency?

    No. Go2Care is not an agency. We do not employ caregivers or take agency fees.
     

  • Do I need a license or certification to sign up?

    No, but having credentials like CPR, HCA, CNA, or First Aid can improve your profile and help you earn badges for visibility.
     

  • What types of services can I offer?

    You can offer services such as companion care, personal care, transportation, meal prep, light housekeeping, dementia support, and more.
     

  • How do I create a profile?

    Sign up for a free account at Go2Care.co, complete your profile with accurate details, upload your documents, and wait for verification.
     

  • Can I work full-time or part-time?

    Yes. You set your own availability and accept jobs that fit your schedule.


     

  • Is there a background check required?

    Yes. A recent background check (within 12 months) is required to earn the Verified badge.
     

  • Do I need to upload my ID?

    Yes. A valid government-issued ID is required to verify your identity. 

  • How long does verification take?

    Verification typically takes 7 business days. We’ll notify you via email if additional documents are needed.
     

  • Is there a fee to join?

    Creating a profile is free. To unlock full access, including messaging and job searching, premium plans start at $9.99/month 

  • Can agencies also join?

    Yes. Agencies and staffing providers can register to connect with families through our platform.
     

  • How do I get paid?

    All payments are arranged directly between you and the Care Seeker. Go2Care does not process payments.
     

  • Can I negotiate my own rate?

    Yes. You set your own hourly or flat rates and negotiate terms directly with clients.
     

  • How do I communicate with a Care Seeker?

    Once your profile is active, you can receive messages from clients or reach out to job posts (with a premium plan). 

  • Can I decline a job offer?

    Yes. You are not obligated to accept any job. You choose when and with whom to work.
     

  • What happens if a client cancels?

    Cancellations are handled between you and the Care Seeker. We recommend setting clear expectations upfront. 

  • Can I leave a review for a client?

    Yes. After completing a job, you can leave a review and rating for the Care Seeker.
     

  • Can clients review me?

    Yes. Clients can leave feedback on your profile after services are completed. 

  • How can I increase my chances of getting hired?

    Keep your profile complete, upload certifications, maintain a professional photo, and earn badges 

  • What are badges and how do I get them?

    Badges like "Verified," "Background Checked," or "CPR Certified" boost your credibility. Submit the relevant documents for review.
     

  • Do I have to use the Go2Care messaging system?

    Yes. For safety and compliance, all initial communication should be through our platform. 

  • What if I experience an issue with a client?

    Try resolving the matter directly. You can also report it via our Safety Line: 1-949-795-8053 or support@go2care.co. 

  • Is there a mobile app?

    Currently, Go2Care is web-based, but a mobile app is in development.
     

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your access will continue until the end of the billing cycle. 

  • Will I get a refund if I cancel?

    No refunds are issued for canceled subscriptions. Cancel before your next billing cycle to avoid charges.
     

  • Can I suspend my profile temporarily?

    Yes. You can pause your availability or temporarily deactivate your profile at any time. Just email us at support@go2care.co and our team will assist you. 

  • Do I need insurance?

    While not required, we recommend having liability insurance for added protection during care assignments.

Care Seeker

  • What is Go2Care?

    Go2Care.co is a domestic care referral platform connecting Care Seekers with qualified Care Providers for non-medical home care, offering profile verification, direct messaging, and flexible hiring options. 

  • Is Go2Care an agency?

    No. Go2Care is not a care agency. You hire and pay care providers directly without commissions or middlemen.

  • What types of care providers can I find?

    You’ll find caregivers for elderly support, disability care, companionship, in-home care, and similar services.

  • How do I find a caregiver?

    Sign up, choose a plan, then search by ZIP code, skills, availability, and certifications—or post a job to attract applicants.

  • Do I need a subscription to message providers?

    Yes. Messaging and hiring features require a subscription after your free trial.

  • What are the subscription options?

    Plans start at $29/month for full access, or $59/month for a featured profile and priority visibility.

  • Is there a free trial?

    Yes, every subscription includes a 7-day free trial. Your paid plan will begin automatically after the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. 

  • How do I know if a caregiver is verified?

    Verified providers have a badge on their profile after submitting ID and/or certifications reviewed by our team. You may also request their background check, government ID, and credentials directly.

  • Can I invite someone to apply to my job?

    Yes, you can invite specific providers to view and apply to your job posting.

    You can browse limited profiles, but full access (including messaging) requires a free account and active plan.

  • What happens if I don’t find a caregiver?

    If you don’t find a caregiver, your 7-day trial lets you test the platform risk-free. Cancel anytime or contact us for help. Posting detailed jobs attracts more providers.

  • Can I use Go2Care to hire for someone in another city?

    Yes. You can search and hire caregivers in any location even if you’re managing care remotely.

  • How are care providers rated?

    Providers receive reviews and ratings from past clients. You can view them on each caregiver’s profile.

  • What if I have a problem with a provider?

    If there’s an emergency, call 911. For other issues, try resolving them directly with the caregiver or contact Go2Care support at 1-949-795-8053 or support@go2care.co.
